Xavier Monsalvatje x Contemporánea |
Spanish artist Xavier Monsalvatje creates portfolio "Forgotten Landscapes". The new limited edition prints edited by Contemporánea. Xavier Monsalvatje (1965, Spain) is a painter and sculptor. In his paintings we find factories, industrial archeology and new models cosmopolis. The human figure is not shown, and if it does so it is as worker or robot. In his sculptural work we also find cities and interesting containers used, first, to protect what will be extinguished in the future (genetic information, species, products of culture...), and second, to store trash and past mistakes. His work has been shown worldwide, including galleries and museums in Spain, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, France, Korea, China... Xavier signed the edition in her workshop-studio in Valencia before going to Copenhagen in a Residence for next two months. Xavier Monsalvatje's "Forgotten Landscapes" is the third edition edited by Contemporanea this year. Remember Pepa Prieto's "Alehoop!" and "Too Cool For School". All these editions are now available for everyone and also for the Members of Contemporanea. El
artista español Xavier
Monsalvatje realiza el portfolio "Forgotten
Landscapes".
