Lives and works in California.
Painter, photographer, filmmaker and writer. Campbell’s
journalistic roots working for Transworld Skateboarding enabled
him to become the prolific creator he is today. Campbell’s
artworks combine scribbles and scriptures, taking slogans and
anecdotes from his unique vocabulary and juxtaposing them with
a profound look at human nature. He has mounted solo exhibitions
at galleries in New York, Paris, San Francisco, Los Angeles,
and Morocco. He's completed his third feature length surfing
film and is currently in production on his forth. He is also
creative director for a independent record label, Galaxia, which
has released records by contemporary artists Tommy Guerrero,
Ray Barbee and Peggy Honeywell. |
