1960, USA. Lives and works in New York.
Photographer and filmmaker. Upon moving to Europe to pursue fashion photography, she moved back to New York where she became a successful photographer shooting for magazines such as Spin, Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar and Dazed and Confused. In the mid-1990s, Dunn began to focus much more on filmmaking. Since her first film, 'Sped' (1997) she has always documented the generation she belongs to. She also has published some books and co-curated shows with Jeffrey Deitch.

Fotógrafa y directora de cine. Tras ejercer de fotógrafa de moda en Europa se traslada en los 90 a Nueva York donde trabaja con éxito para revistas como Spin, Vogue, o Dazed and Confused. Es a mediados de esa década cuando comienza a realizar piezas de cine. Desde la primera, ‘Sped’ (1997), no ha dejado de documentar la generación a la que ha pertenecido. También ha publicado varios libros y comisariado exposiciones para Deitch Projects.
